Punching you in the face: A different kind of control

I've been thoroughly enjoying playing around with a fist-oriented team. I've talked a lot about the uncommon She-Hulk and certainly, she's a big part of it. The UXM version of this is fun on its own. Now, I've considered some set mixing, and I like the potential that some AVX inclusion gives me as I piece something like this together.

The control aspect is strong, too, as you want to force your opponent to attack and block in ways that they just don't want to - that's how you win. This is not control in the traditional, long-game sense; just in the "I'm making you do this thing" sense. Let's look at a few different options for how this might work.

Character Review: Cyclops

Days of Future Past OP Recap

We recently held our third Dice Masters tournament at my FLGS, , and the event went off without a hitch.  The prizes on the line were the Days of Future Past OP cards and the event type was Constructed. We ended up with an ok turnout of 6 players.  Everyone had a great time and we saw a really decent mix of the meta - some high level competitive teams, some more casual teams and then some things in between.  As I've reflected on the events, let me share some of my observations.

Character Review: Iceman

We're BACK! Hopefully the video issues that plagued the other ones that I wanted to upload are gone.

Non-Dice Masters Wizard World Cleveland Review!

Hey there, everyone. I’ve got something different in store today. Last weekend I attended the Wizard World Cleveland comic convention. I know we are a Dice Masters site, but it’s safe to say that our audience does have a wide crossover in to comic books as well. So I’m going to give you guys a little review of this convention, and if you haven’t been to one, maybe by the end you’ll decide to give it a shot, even if you’re not a huge comic book nerd.

Character Reviews: Returning Soon

Been a little while on the character reviews, mostly because of exciting stuff happening behind the scenes as well as the prep we've put in for a few of the podcast topics. But they're back, and here to stay! BUNCHES of these coming before D&D drops.

Now, this post was supposed to be the first of the new set, beginning with Cyclops, but something happened during the import and every single one of the new set of reviews that I recorded save Falcon had some pretty crazy issues and will have to be re-recorded. I hate having to do stuff like that over again, but it is what it is.

Luckily, I do have Iceman, Juggernaut, and Iron Man ready to go from an older batch, they just won't be as streamlined as what I want to do with this moving forward. That'll come soon, as I won't have the opportunity to get one of those uploading overnight tonight. Perhaps we'll have two or three coming out on certain days.

So that's the update, and I'm stickin' to it. Thanks, everyone!
