DC News!
I'm on the mobile app so I can't do better than a cut-and-paste of the link, but we have lots of new information about DC - including card spoilers for Batman, Constantine, and Wonder Wonan. This version of Constantine is a super rare. I'm definitely getting excited for this implementation of Dice Masters!

Age of Ultron Predictions
Katie and Randy here! (This article was written before Katie stepped down, as mentioned in the latest podcast. It just took a while to get posted due to some delays, editing, finding pictures and links, etc.) We're going to take a little break from all the Uncanny X-Men strategy talks and character reviews, and look ahead. Today we wanted to look at a few of the characters that we might see in the upcoming Marvel Dice Masters: Age of Ultron expansion set. We've already had news that Ultron, Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers version, formerly Ms. Marvel), and Phil Coulson of Marvel Movies fame will be in the set. Also, according to this link, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Daredevil, and Kang will be included as well. So we want to look at who else might be joining them.

Editorial: House Rules
What are your thoughts on house rules?
I use them in one case - because my wife loves Carcassone, and I don't, so we play with a hand of tiles because I know that she likes it and it adds enjoyment for me. But in general, I don't like house rules and I think using them is actually indicative of a game that you don't like. In fact, my example above is case-in-point - we use the house rule because I don't like the game! Happy wife, happy life after all.
But is that a problem? It shouldn't be, because we have MANY AMAZING games out there! They don't all have to be perfect for me, or you, or anyone.

Help us with new features!
There's some stuff we want to try, and to do it, we'll need help from YOU, the discriminating Dice Masters gamer. As we're making video a factor, and as it becomes clear from your feedback and emails that stories of playing are FAR more in demand than we realized (and that the podcast has become the primo feature of the site), we want to enhance all of these things.
First, on the podcast - we'll talk about it this week on the show - we want to add a segment sharing stories of thrilling victories and devastating defeats. This is inspired by a contest that we ran, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entries to that. Expect us to ham it up as we tell these stories. Keep it so that the entry can be fully read in about one to two minutes.
Second, for YouTube - a lot of people ask questions about deck construction. I'd like to start a regular video segment where we go with a starting point - one to three cards (characters or actions) that you'd like to see what could be built with them. Whether you're looking for a single card or a combo of cards, that'll be the base that we build on. Maybe there's a theme you want to see made into reality. Maybe you want us to attempt a viable team from utter garbage.
We want to be interactive! We want to share more stories of playing the game! This is about FUN, not just strategy, and that's what we want to emphasize.
Thank you for your support!
